Welcome to Temple Har Zion
Temple Har Zion was established in the Historic town of Mt. Holly, NJ over seventy years ago. We are an egalitarian, Jewish Renewal-oriented synagogue in the Conservative tradition.
Our Focus
Our congregation is diverse and welcoming to families and individuals. We are small, and intend to remain fewer than 200 families to preserve our sense of family and connection with each other.
We are committed to nurturing and maintaining a community of active and involved members who attend services, programs/events, and joyfully serve the congregation and community. Our greatest resource is our members and their commitment to community, to Judaism, to Temple Har Zion.
Temple Har Zion welcomes visitors and newcomers.
We believe we have something quite special to share that is not easily found elsewhere. We invite you to stop in for Shabbat services or any of our programs and events, and to stay to chat awhile. Stop by and check out our Hebrew school, too (where students actually want to attend!).
Our Mission Statement
The Mission of Temple Har Zion is to provide a wellspring of Jewish Spirituality and learning that nurtures wholeness and a close connection with community and G!d from generation to generation.
Our Vision Statement
We are South Jersey’s and the Delaware Valley’s Jewish oasis of spiritual searching and innovation that promotes learning and healing. We inspire individuals, couples, and families to celebrate our ancient and sacred spiritual connections in a supportive environment to create an active presence of G!d in our daily lives.
